Hi, I’m Mary Hawkins and planning is my passion! I have been planning weddings and events successfully for over 10 years. Before I became co-owner of Essentially Elegant Events, I was the family and friends' designated event planner. I planned all my nieces and nephews weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and birthday parties. I understand that every client is unique and I cater to the personal dreams and desires of the individual. I am extremely organized and pay close attention to details. It's always great to see the bride and groom relax and trust me to handle all the hectic details of their wedding planning. Minimizing your stress levels while allowing you to maximize your fun times will be my pleasure. Prior to wedding planning full-time, my career of 20 years was in Banking. I managed a team of 6-12 employees and my requirements included accuracy, organization and extreme attention to details. These skills aided greatly to my event planning success. I received my wedding and event planning certification through Lovegevity University. This certification allowed my insight to new wedding trends and the ability to obtain the tools necessary to turn a bride's dream into a reality. When I am not planning events and a couple’s special day, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I am excited and ready to create and design your wedding. Hi, I’m Tammy Turner. I have been in the Wedding and event planning industry for over 10 years, longer if you count all the birthday parties, anniversary parties, baby showers, and bridal showers I have planned. I absolutely love planning and have a love for people. I truly love seeing a smile on the Bride and Groom’s faces when I have made a special day dream turned into reality. Being a part of such a special day is an honor for me and to know that I worked with the bride and groom to bring their dreams to life really touches my heart. I’m also excited that I have made new friends! That’s why I love what I do! Before I started wedding planning full time, I was an accountant by day and a planner by night. After planning my daughter’s wedding in 2006, I decided to pursue my passion for wedding and event planning. Because I was an accountant for many years, I am very organized and very, very detail oriented. Wedding and event success is all about attention to the details! Although I knew a lot about the wedding and event planning industry, I decided to get my wedding planning and event certification through Lovegevity University to stay current on the new wedding trends. Getting my certification was the best decision I ever made and helped me to broaden my knowledge base, form vendor relationships, and enhance my creativity. When I am not planning your perfect wedding or event, I love traveling with my family, gourmet cooking, cake decorating and curling up in a chair with a good book and some coffee. I am excited about creating a unique and memorable event for you and helping your dream become a reality!
